- Allen W. Cowley, Jr., Chairman of the Department of Physiology at MCW, has been selected by the American Physiological Society as the recipient of its 2006 Ray G. Daggs Award, presented to a physiologist "judged to have provided distinguished long-term service to the science of physiology and in particular to the American Physiological Society, by holding a prominent position in the Society." The award, which was announced by Douglas C. Eaton, Ph.D., President of the American Physiological Society, will be presented at the 2006 Experimental Biology meeting of the APS in San Francisco, on April 4, 2006.
